Frequently Asked Questions
- What do all those abbreviations mean?
- SW = Shrinkwrapped (a new item)
- MT = Mint (new condition, without shrinkwrap)
- NM = Near-Mint (basically mint, with one or two minor flaws)
- EX = Excellent (more than two minor flaws, but still very nice)
- VG = Very-Good (some noticible wear or flaws; not a showpiece, but looks decent)
- GD = Good (a well-used copy, worn but not "beat-up")
- FR = Fair (heavily worn or "beat-up", but still intact and playable)
- PR = Poor (very "beat-up" or damaged, torn, taped, etc. Still playable, but not pretty)
- Items worse than "PR" (incomplete, unplayable, etc.) are sold in periodic "ghoul" auctions.
- Miscellaneous information codes include "unp" (unpunched) and "ps" (price-sticker).
Note:
- 1. If a "plus" sign appears after a condition, this indicates an item that almost reaches the next higher category (for example, VG+ means "better than VG, not quite EX" ).
- 2. If two conditions are listed (such as GD/NM), then the first refers to the cover and the second to the interior.
- How do I place an order?
- Send us an e-mail at services@hitpointe.com with a list of what you are interested in, along with condition and price. We will let you know if these items are still available and what the total cost will be (including shipping).
- (MI residents add 6% sales tax)
- How long will my order be held for me?
- Your order will then be held, pending payment, for one (1) week.
- What form of payment do you accept?
- We accept credit cards (VISA/MasterCard/Discover/American Express), PayPal, money orders, and personal checks at this time.
- Checks are subject to a five business-day waiting period.
- What if I can't find what I want on your list?
- If we don't have listed what you are looking for... either keep checking the web page to see if it has recently been listed (the web page is updated a few times a week) or send us a request to list that item. As soon as we obtain it, we will add it to our web site.
- Can I get new releases?
- Yes! We sell most TSR and White Wolf in-print titles at 20% off the original retail price. If an item that you seek is not already on our list, contact us and we will order it for you.
- Where is your store?
- Our store is mainly run over the net.
- What form of shipping do you use?
- Usually, United States Postal Service. We will ship using USPS Media or Priority Mail for most orders.
- We will look into other options upon request (i.e. Express, Ground, etc.). Other shipping arrangements may be made if desired; contact us for further information. Shipping is at the customer's expense.
- International orders are also shipped through the USPS. Contact us for more information, as options vary by country.
- How much is shipping?
- Shipping charges to U.S. destinations (including APO, FPO, and PR) are:
- 10% of Merchandise Total, with a $4.50 minimum and an $8.50 maximum.
- Optional: signature confirmation for orders at an additional cost of $1.80.
